Should we spend money on space exploration

First of all I think money should be spent on space exploration. A lot of people think that only reason we pay for, for example, NASA's researches is new technology and inventions. Of course yes, but drill without cabel or eatable tooth paste isn't only profit of going into space. It's obvious that our satellites  or visits on the moon gives a lot of informations for scientists. Explorating space we know more about how the universe works.

We're getting closer to moment when space agencies can make profit and "cosmic" market will be take over by private companies like SpaceX. How? For example cosmic mining. Astronomers thinks that many asteroids includes a lot of rare metals. Another way how space exploration can be profitable is space tourism. We'll be able to organise trips, for example, to the Sun instead of free helicopter rides.
